So you don't know why poltergeists feed off negative energy despite making that claim (i.e. no argument, evidence, etc... for it)? Do you have a reason(s) for why poltergeists feed off energy in general? If not, then it seems very pointless to claim they feed off a specific type of energy. I'm aware I probably won't get a logical argument so even a paranormal or other fantasy-like reason will suffice.

i dont know why,they do but they do, i have read it in a number of paranormal books, mainly books written by spiritulist mediums. my guess is that politergists feed off negative energies as they are not nice spirits and in order for them to get enough to energy to manifest and cause havoc ect they feed off the negative energy. i dont know though, but i have read that politergists feed off negative energy in a number of books most of those which have been wirrtien by spiritulist mediums.
