Also, make sure you have a strong NO command. A strong NO, will stop the puppy doing ANYTHING you don't want it to do.
I agree with the other posts though - also, puppies chew when their bored =]
Getting the pup excited WILL make her bite though, so try not to punish the pup for PLAYING, just make sure the pup knows that biting hard during play isnt acceptable.
