Doesn't necessarily mean they were illegal.
I'd be scared too if I was of mexican decent and some Gestapo like force pulled into my place of work with intent to aprehend any brown person who can't prove their innocence there and then.
Really? I thought they were doing work? How does removing productive labour not remove working resources?
And that would mean those people are unavailable to fill other jobs. You're still talking away productive workers.
Maybe we should remove the influence of unions or whatever is keeping wages above the market clearing level? Maybe if they don't have a competitive advantage against immigrants they should find some other line of work and not use government violence to force employers to buy needlessly expensive labour and raise prices for everyone else?
Says who? The xenophobic law that says so? Sorry, laws don't define morality.
And if you're complaining about them being able to work for less then you've answered why they get employed.

i dont get economics i dont see a use for it really so yes i guess im ignorant in that department...
wouldnt you consider it odd if u been at a jobsite and never heard one english word from any of the workers ?
most adult men have some for of id on them at all times i personally dont go anywhere without my drivers license..
considering the work i seen on the sites i would call substandard i highly disagree its productive labour and it wouldnt be removing labor since last statistic i saw for unemployed was in the 100's of thousands it would be providing jobs for people...
how is it taking away productive workers if they specialize in construction and there isnt none to be found ur creating jobs for them so yes there will less unemployed but there will also will be alot less people on wellfare.
personally i hate unions but again if theres no one to work for below minium wage they wont have no choice but to hire them and i wouldnt call it expensive labour they make roughly 12 bucks a hour and the work is highly difficult..
im not xenophobic but i do believe jobs that are in america should be held by americans...
