Finally, they come trained - their mother teaches them how to eat/ hunt / use the litter tray / wash / etc etc ... Therefore you don't really have to do anything.

Sorry - but really you don't need to train them to use the litter box - you need to show them where it is and eventually teach them to go outside, but cats being clean animals get taught by their mothers!
