In my honest opinion, he doesn't deserve either of you two. Think about it: this guy tricked two separate girls into thinking that they were the only one for him, telling them that he loved them, lying to them, using them, and he could play it off well because he was going off into the army for basic training. He didn't want to make it official the second time around because he was fooling around with another girl and telling her SHE was his love, not because he was leaving.

Open your eyes. You need to drop his ass like a hot potato and realize that he is feeding off of your lack of self esteem, with both of you. Don't let him get away with this because you "don't want to cause him stress;" he got himself into this mess. If it blows up in his face while he is in basic training, too bad. He better find a way to cope. Seriously though, both of you sound like really good hearted girls. You both deserve better.
