I had a similar experience a couple of months ago; I was actually in a relationship with a guy at the time, and believed I was totally straight. Then I met this wonderful girl, and and I got to talking to her and soon began to start crushing on her (much to my surprise). I'm more comfortable around her than I ever was with guys, and it makes me happy to feel that way. But you can be straight and still be attracted to people of the same gender, there are plenty of people out there who will tell you that. So I say, just go with the flow, and do what you are most comfortable with.
