Angry Uninvited roommates... - August 26th 2010, 01:34 AM

First off I want to mention I'm on a joint lease, cause if this was individual lease I would have been out of here by now. We had two people move out, so my roommate had a friend of his sign the lease without asking for my permission. Then that guy invited one of his friends to live here without even asking!! And now, without him even asking, his girlfriend is now living with us. First she would come spend the night (then her mom would come slamming on our door looking for her). I've already had a problem in the past with guy's girlfriends moving in... I don't want to deal with it again.

She is 18 and got kicked out of her house for not listening to what her mother asked of her.

I would probably be nicer about the situation, but she NEVER speaks to me. I feel SOOOO awkward around her! Whenever I do try and talk to her, she speaks with an attitude back to me or ignores me. I feel like I'm not getting any respect. If you're moving into someone's apartment I think you should put a little more effort in being friendly. I don't want to deal with this in my own house. In fact, all the new people are very rude to me. Plus now there's 7 people living in a 4 bedroom townhouse!

So legally, in the state of Florida, is there anything I can do? I'm thinking about talking to her mom. I know her mom has a Facebook...would it be a bad idea to send her a message? I don't know her phone number.

I personally want to move out to a one bedroom with my boyfriend, but our rent is so cheap here. We're both full time college students, so saving money helps a lot. I think I could afford it with a student loan, but I don't want to make my boyfriend work more than he already does to help pay too. He is doesn't mind living here, but he does agree that she shouldn't be here. It makes our rent no cheaper.

I just hate coming home just to be unhappy.
