Distended, sore abdomen. -
August 30th 2010, 12:10 AM
So, my stomach is pretty distended and hard. It hurts to move and it's sore to touch.
Upon calling Planned Parenthood's 24/7 hotline, they told me they CAN'T tell if it's anything serious because I haven't taken pain meds and to simply take ibuprofen and Tylenol because my uterus might just be trying to push out the rest of my lining.
Problem is: I had a ultrasound that showed it already shed the lining. There's nothing to push out. I really hate this Planned Parenthood and they don't listen too well.
So, TH, can someone try to reassure my mind?
SHOULD I be pretty concerned on this?! I mean... Everything else is normal. It's just my abdomen that's the problem. Upon my sister touching my stomach, she said it felt like a tennis ball. It's NOT tennis ball sized though. It starts at my lower abdomen and goes up to just below my belly button. I already sat in a hot bath and used a heating pad to try to ease the swelling down a bit to no avail.
My nerves are haywire with this. It's not too painful where I can't bare it, it's just extremely uncomfortable and weird..
Do you think I can make it until the 13th? That's when I have a doctor's appointment scheduled... Or should I make an additional one for this?
I know you guys aren't doctors, but I need reassurance.
