Depending on the time of day, there may not be many people in the chat room. Even then, they may be in the middle of a conversation, so your best bet would be to 1) visit the S&A chat rooms, or 2) visit the LiveHelp chat room (if it's open). You're guaranteed to get in touch with a staff member if it's online. =)
