Wait... I feel like I'm hearing the same story I heard a few months ago. You were also struggling then, and you were also talking about proposing to her in a few days (or maybe it was in a few weeks?). Look, I know you want to work things out with her, and that's great... but making her your fiance is NOT going to make all your problems magically go away. If anything, it may just make things worse.

It's easy to give someone a ring and say, "Will you marry me?"... but when your relationship is on the rocks like this, they're just WORDS. You need to show her through your ACTIONS that you can be a loving, supportive husband in the future. Fix things first, then keep things going strong for a few months... maybe even a year. Know with a fair amount of certainty that you can maintain this relationship... THEN propose. Don't be another statistic, yet another couple that rushed into a marriage they weren't ready for. =/
