Telling her on Facebook one day could work.
It's definitely easier to tell someone something like this when you don't exactly hear their voice or if your not standing right beside them. I think that telling her is a good idea, because hiding everything beneath your sleeves for the rest of your life and getting no support whatsoever just isn't the way to go. If your cousin is having or has had rough times in her life then she's someone they may just be able to understand. I know when I told one of my friends something that was a bit like this I was surprised that she'd actually been through something similar. So, you never know. Your cousin will understand. And you're family, nothing will ever tear you apart, right? Just send her a message on Facebook whenever you feel like is a good time, and you feel courageous and strong enough. I think it could make things a lot better for you even just getting this off your chest. Good luck. xx
