Morgan Spurlock's television show "30 Days".
(Yes Spurlock of "Supersize Me" fame).

I'm kind of addicted to his TNT show. Every episode is a mini documentary about a person who lives in someone else's shoes for 30 days, e.g. Christian lives as a Muslim in an almost all Muslim community, woman against gays raising children lives in a gay household, morgan works a minimum wage job in WI, two New yorkers live in an economical/self sustaining community in the middle of america.

Fun, interesting, short episodes.
