Hey,

Like what was said before, I have gone through long periods of not cutting and then it comes at me suddenly. You should look at that Alternatives list and try to come up with a hobby or something that can distract to, or find someone to talk to. You don't need to tell them that you want to cut, but they can definitely do a great job at distracting you or making you feel a bit happier. I also found that writing down what is triggering you at a certain time down in a journal, diary, or other location helps. That way, when you are feeling better, you can look back at what is triggering you and figure out how to solve the problem from there, or even have someone else look at what you wrote and discuss it with you. Not only is this a good way to keep track of what you are feeling, but it allows you to get everything out at once.
