I would suggest going to your doctor. Have you ever had your blood sugars taken during these episodes? If so, what have they come back like?

I'm not entirely sure what you can have that'll help. Have you tried looking out for diabetic chocolate? I know you're not diabetic but maybe it'll prevent the reaction you get when you eat normal sweet foods.

But as I've said, it's vital that you go to your doctors to make sure it is not anything else.
