Stop the noise! D: -

Hey,
Maybe this is gonna sound really silly and all. Well, sorry if it does. Mods can close the thread if they want to. And yeah, sorry that it's a bit too long.
I just wanna say that I have this fear of loud noises. I can tolerate loud music. In fact, I like loud music. But when someone shouts, or something falls/shatters on the ground, I just get so panicky, you'd think some monster attacked me! Today, I was just sitting by a window and thinking, and I was quite lost in my thoughts, so I didn't hear when my brother called me. Then, suddenly, he came in the room and started saying loudly that had I gone deaf or what?! I was so shocked! I jumped up and covered my ears, refusing to face him. He wasn't even shouting that loud, but still his sudden voice scared me real bad. I couldn't recover from the shock and was breathing heavily for the next 10 minutes. A similar incident took place last week when my classmate dropped her stuff on the floor, just beside me. Again, the same thing happened, and that classmate kept staring at me strangely and then walked away after calling me weird. Some people say that it is because of my anxiety. Is it so? Any advice would help.
Thanks for reading this.
All we can do is Keep Breathing...!
