That's what the Day of Silence is? At my high school they told us we were being silent for those who don't have a voice (children in sweatshops, children living in poverty, etc.), not for
LGBT issues. Of course, I do go to a Catholic high school, so that probably has something to do with it... And this is one of the reasons I don't identify with churches (I'm a Christian independent from any churches).
