Re: Prom - April 9th 2012, 08:48 AM

Hello there, I'm a guy but I believe I can help you out with this!

I had prom last year and I saw both kinds of dresses. My prom date and my friend wore a very good - looking dress but they didn't exactly fit their personality. Needless to say, although they looked good, there was definitely something off that I couldn't quite point out. Now I'm sure it was because their dress didn't fit them as a person. They kind of looked 'artificial' with those dresses and their 1 - inch make - up and although they boasted confidence, it didn't really look that great for the guys...

Some other girls wore cheaper dresses (still pretty expensive in my opinion) but those dresses had colours they wore to school everyday. Their dresses basically fit their personality very well. They looked so natural in it, they looked stunning! You could tell too as they were getting a lot of attention from the guys.

Point is, pick the dress which suits you most personality - wise and as a person. Although the other dress could be better - looking and possibly more expensive, never underestimate what a suitable dress could do! Pick a dress with your favourite colours and style! Good Luck! Carpe Diem.
