I like you Dr. M, I've learned so much from you but what you're doing isn't fair to anyone. I understand Claire has missed more rehearsals than she's allowed, but so have a lot of us! And a lot of us have missed more than she has. You kicked her out not because she missed too many rehearsals but because you don't like her. And that's pathetic and petty. You just took down the second soprano section by a notch because she is a very strong singer. Everyone knows you don't like her, you make it obvious who your favorites are and who you don't like. I respect you and everything you do for all of us, but that just isn't fair. I understand dropping her for the rest of the year, I get that completely. But you're not letting her even re-audition for next year and that's even pettier than the reason you kicked her out!
