Actually, it is completely dependent on the person and their flow. Some people who have a light flow, stop while swimming but not in the bath.

You can test it out every once in awhile and see what works for you the best. And the reason it might stop in the water is due to the pressure. But it likely won't stop if you are having a heavy flow.

Anyways, as others stated. Tampon. However, it is now past the date you were needing answers. So I will go ahead and close the thread now. Feel free to PM me to discuss reopening it for any reason.

Also, the brown stuff is probably just leftover blood from your last period. As your period gets started, it should start turning more and more red.
