The city's eyes are blurred tonight
Twixt rain and tears trapped in my sight.
I know not why the city cries
And shares with me her frigid sighs.
Perhaps like me she squalls in pain,
In search of what she can't explain,
And finds a refuge in her tears
Held back in pain for all the years
When every fight, and every crime,
Built up inside her every time.
