Hey Emily. :]

I know it's horrible when people use Self-Harm as an example for something. It's like, you're not thinking about SH at all, and then BAM, someone shoves it randomly in your face.

You just have to learn to separate yourself from the triggers. When someone mentions Self Harm ,or you read about it somewhere, just stand back and take a deep breath. Remind yourself of how strong you are and that words can't make you do anything.

When you're triggered, try out some alternatives to get your mind off it until the urge passes. Here's the link to the alternatives thread: Alternatives To Self Harm

Hopefully you can find some alternatives on there that will help you get past your urges.

PM me anytime you need to! Hang in there. <3
