Re: Feeling Like the ONLY Lonely One (one of my biggest insecurities). - November 7th 2012, 11:12 PM

Hey there. I'm sure we've spoken before.

I think as humans we naturally desire things we want. Especially since love contains so much happiness, it's just a natural want on its own. If it really helps anything and I don't mean to sound conceited. If I do, well, I'm really just trying to help you. I don't know if you're in college, but I'll share a High School story with you. When I was in High School, I was one of the popular, pretty girls. Yet, I was the nice popular kind. I was asked out by a lot of people, but turned them down. I realized that none of these "boys" were stable enough to handle the emotional, loving desire want that I needed. Point is, most school related relationships USUALLY rarely last. You are not alone and believe me on this one. I have felt alone for the longest time even as a popular girl in High School. I understand how we all have certain standards, but most relationships you see in school don't normally last. Your best bet is to meet different people in other areas. It seems hard meeting the RIGHT people, which I can assure you is probably the only hard part. But meeting various people just to meet them isn't that bad either. Whether it's in person or on the internet or wherever, there is someone for everyone. Progress is made when you decide to look forward. Just keep looking up. Good luck!
