Have you had a mental illness?
I have indeed been diagnosed with several mental illnesses
- Major Depressive Disorder (Recurrent)
- Panic Disorder with Agoraphobia
- Generalized Anxiety Disorder
- Depression Disorder NOS
Have you faced any discrimination for being mentally ill?
I have had bouts of mania (But never diagnosed with Mania or Bipolar) and in class I remember people yelling at me to calm down and such. Yah.
Are there any positive things you have learned from having a mental illness?I While being in treatment and being in therapy for my mental illnesses, I've learned to love myself more than I have before.
