VM means visitor message, which are the messages your get on your profile, like mine. PM means private message, which is like a message only you can see, and you get a notification when you get one of those. If you have a Facebook, a PM is like a message you can send someone, and a VM is like posting on somebody's wall. -
Hey Cora,
I saw your post on the Eating Disorder's thread, and I thought I should VM you instead of commenting. I feel its more personal.
I just want you to know that you are NOT alone. I'm 14 almost 15, and I am also significantly overweight...due to poor diet & a number of medical reasons. My parents used to comment on what I ate, my weight, etc.
"Do you REALLY need to eat that?" "Honey, we just want what's best. And we think you need to lose weight." "We just don't want you to be fat dear" etc, etc.
I have an eating disorder. Non-purging bulimia nervousa, to be exact.
I want you to know that you are BEAUTIFUL, it every single way, no matter what your parents say. I self-harm too, and just now, I am proud that you are fighting it. I am proud you know your limits suicidal thoughts wise.
I know you can beat this, fight this, get past this. <3
I'm always here for you, if you ever wanna talk, ask questions, etc.
