- Hey guys! I'm Shannon. I was a member of TeenHelp for two years, and left about a year ago as I was having a difficult time with working a full time job and balancing my duties as a HelpLink Mentor. But, recently, I've decided to make a huge comeback, which took more time than I wanted with the downtime TeenHelp recently experienced.
A little about me eh? Well, I'm 24, and have been in a relationship for about five and a half years. This past February, my boyfriend and I purchased our very first home and are now living together in Aurora. I started a new job as well in Februrary, working for Gerald Auto Group, and I was recently promoted and will begin my new position come August!
I have two furbabies: rats named Laguna and Penny. They're my life and I wouldn't be me without them! UPDATE: Sadly, before I left for a trip to Norway, both my fur babies went to fur heaven! 12/22/2014 :-(

- I love watching my favorite shows on Netflix, and having in days with my furbabies and the love of my life. I also enjoy spending any extra time I may have with my two very best girlfriends.
- Music
- I'm not shy about what I like. The only genre I'm not too keen on is classical.
- Movies
- I'll watch anything. I never take anyone's word on a movie without seeing it for myself.
My favorite movie is the 1989 version of Steel Magnolia's - Television
- My two favorite shows of all time are Chicago PD (as I grew up in Chicago) and Sons of Anarchy.
- Games
- Hands down: Dead Island and it's sequel Riptide. I haven't been able to find a game that is anything like it yet.
- Books
- Favorite book of all time is Stephen King's IT. I'm incredibly terrified of clowns, yet, Pennywise the Clown does not scare me in anyway.
- Sports
- Huge Chicago sports fan: Blackhawks, White Sox, Bears and Bills. Nothing beats the Windy City.
- Heroes
- I've never been one to think of this, but I'd have to say my boyfriend, so sacrifices himself on a near daily basis serving our countries military.
