Oh my goodness, I didn't even notice! My avatar just makes me happy because it's McDreamy. *sigh* Can't go wrong with Patrick Dempsey.

Not that I'm stalking or anything, but I'm just seconding Louise's feelings regarding Windows 8. It is awful.

    Also hi and such.

Have you seriously been orange for 2 1/2 years? Wow, time really does fly. That's pretty terrifying to think about but then I remember my baby brother is 17 in a few months and it makes me want to cry in a corner until time stops moving. Oh wow, that's a good point. I'll be six years in December. It's scary how much has changed. Sometimes I read old threads and see all these users and it's like THAT WAS ONLY YESTERDAY WHY HAVE THEY NOT SIGNED IN FOR TWO YEARS?

Windows 8 is a travesty. It will say it wants to be updated and you can delay it for one day, but after that you don't get a choice. You can either update when it says or use the 20 minutes to save your work first. If you're away from the computer and don't see the message and come back to everything shutting down it's maddening.
On the plus side, I have a Netflix app. That also stops working after updates but hey, it only takes a few hours to fix!

Thank God! I don't log on here much not and whenever I get on there is something new. It is just so confusing.
Also, I just saw you like Tiesto and Swedish House Mafia! You are awesome. I love Swedish House Mafia and I wish they hadn't parted. Though now I am more biased towards Axwell.

I hope you are doing alright.

Fortunately there are very few TV programs I've watched that have ended up cancelling, but when they do, quite often the end-of-season finale has left me on a cliffhanger for the never-to-be next season.

    Ohhh that's exciting!
Knowing Rob it will take another week at least. I have a theory he had the Project Officer roles planned for at least a year before he created and announced them.

Windows 8 fail. It forces you to update (you literally get a message telling you that you have 20 minutes to save your stuff before it updates and restarts) and then things stop working properly so you have to go problem hunting. But if you click the help button on the wifi page it just says "You are not connected to the internet"

Just 1? Did it get cancelled or something?

    About me
NOTE: I serve as a volunteer staff member on TeenHelp. The support and advice I offer falls under my role as a "non-professional." I cannot treat you as a client, meaning I cannot diagnose you or offer any "professional" services. I am happy to assist you in your search for a mental health professional, should TeenHelp prove to be inadequate for meeting your needs!

I apologize in advance for my tendency to post loooong responses for VMs, PMs, and forum posts. =P

I earned my Master's degree in clinical psychology in April 2013! I plan to become a marriage and family therapist in a few years, and have extensive research and peer counseling experience beginning at the age of 16 (I am now 25 years old). I am currently working with two non-profit agencies.

I have been in four relationships, and have learned a great deal from each one. The first was abusive in more ways than one; the second lasted for over four years (despite being long-distance); the third was a "rebound relationship" (which, of course, ended badly); the fourth has been absolutely amazing, and I married the love of my life in April 2014! <3 I truly believe that, with effective communication and a great deal of commitment, long-distance relationships can work under the right circumstances. I can honestly say I have experienced the best and worst aspects of relationships, and I hope I can use those experiences to help other members on TeenHelp. =)

I am currently the Operations Team Leader for TeenHelp. I am also a member of the Disputes and Volunteering Committees for TeenHelp. I joined TeenHelp on June 11th, 2009, and became a HelpLINK Mentor on July 16th, 2009. I was promoted to Forum Moderator for "Relationships and Dating" on December 16th, 2009, "Friends and Family" on March 15th, 2010, "Mental Health" on July 29th, 2011, "Education and Careers" on May 17th, 2012, and "Rape and Abuse" on January 25th, 2014. I became the first-ever Volunteering Officer on October 13th, 2012, and I also became a Project Advisor on April 12th, 2014. In the past, I held the roles of Article Editor/Avatar Magazine Editor (Mind and Body), Social Networking Officer, Social Groups Moderator, and Operations and Procedures Committee member.

Feel free to send me a VM, PM, or e-mail anytime, about anything! I'm here to listen, not to judge.
