Yeah, I bet you'll be really great once you get to a full-on pratice. What's neurofeedback, though?

Yeah, geez. How do you even think straight with all of that? But I'm glad the drama has been resolved.

Are you enjoying the internships? They seem pretty cool. But what all goes into wedding planning? There seems like soo many small details that have to be worked out.

With the additions I just made, I think that this was the longest staff app I've ever submitted.

BUT enough with the staff related stuff. We talk about staff related stuff all the time! I just figured I'd stop by and see how you're doing.

Oh yay, I remembered something. That's actually something I would quite like to do; I volunteered at a dog/cat boarding kennel/rescue shelter a few years ago, and LOVED it (half the time it was so quiet that I just got to go and play with the dogs ), but I haven't been able to find anything like that where I am now unfortunately. And wait. The great Robin got declined for something once? I'm excited to have a new co-mod (for both Pets and A&D), it's kind of lonely working by myself. Ah well, I guess I'll see. And I suppose I'll leave you to all your other forums.

HAHA. That would be great. I can picture Rob just scrolling through a list of users and pointing at random and being like 'umm, that one, sure, why not'. Makes sense, right? Giving everyone an equal chance and all. How weird would that be though, logging in and finding you'd been made a mod of a forum you've never posted in? Like the time in primary school, at this sports event, my team and I got an award for an event we never went in. We were just that good.

Also, thanks for that PM you sent today! I was actually going to send you one asking if you could send that one, so thanks for doing it before I could.

If you didn't have so many positions already I'd encourage you to apply for Pets, because didn't you used to work in some kind of pet-related business? I want to say a boarding kennel or something, or am I way off? Anyway, I probably wouldn't resign just because you were my co-mod; but I would resign if Rob randomly changed all the forums and appointed mods at random because he was bored.

I hate to be annoying...but can I just check that you received the PM that I sent you this time last week?

So I had a crazy TH dream last night. Rob randomly added all these new mods, so there were four people modding A&D and four on General. Then he created another Pets forum, which was exactly the same as the original one except lower down the page, and let me stay mod of it and also appointed you as mod for it. I was so intimidated I was tempted to resign so I wouldn't be your co-mod, and then Rob just kind of got bored and started rearranging the site so I couldn't find anything and I woke up freaking out because TH had changed so much. Just thought you'd like to know.

    About me
I apologize in advance for my tendency to post loooong responses for VMs, PMs, and forum posts. =P

After 4 years of undergraduate school, 2 years of graduate school, and 4 years of internship work (paid and unpaid), I finally became a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California! I love being able to support clients in "real life" as well as volunteer my time on TeenHelp. NOTE: I serve as a volunteer staff member on TeenHelp. The support and advice I offer falls under my role as a "non-professional." I cannot treat you as a client, meaning I cannot diagnose you or offer any "professional" services. I am happy to assist you in your search for a mental health professional, should TeenHelp prove to be inadequate for meeting your needs!

I have been in four relationships, and have learned a great deal from each one. The first was abusive in more ways than one; the second lasted for over four years (despite being long-distance); the third was a "rebound relationship" (which, of course, ended badly); the fourth has been absolutely amazing, and I married the love of my life in April 2014! <3 I truly believe that, with effective communication and a great deal of commitment, long-distance relationships can work under the right circumstances. I can honestly say I have experienced the best and worst aspects of relationships, and I hope I can use those experiences to help other members on TeenHelp. =)

I am currently the Operations Team Leader for TeenHelp. I oversee the HelpLINK Officer, Live Help Officer, Forums and Community Officer, Chat Officer, and Volunteering Officer. I joined TeenHelp on June 11th, 2009, and became a HelpLINK Mentor on July 16th, 2009. I was promoted to Forum Moderator for "Relationships and Dating" on December 16th, 2009, "Friends and Family" on March 15th, 2010, "Mental Health" on July 29th, 2011, "Education and Careers" on May 17th, 2012, and "Rape and Abuse" on January 25th, 2014. I became the first-ever Volunteering Officer on October 13th, 2012, and I also became a Project Advisor on April 12th, 2014. In the past, I held the roles of Article Editor/Avatar Magazine Editor (Mind and Body), Social Networking Officer, Social Groups Moderator, Operations and Procedures Committee member, Disputes Committee member, and Performance/Volunteering Committee member.

Feel free to send me a VM, PM, or e-mail anytime, about anything! I'm here to listen, not to judge.
