I'm curious...

Personally, I love oral (giving... not so much receiving). I love the texture, I love the feel, I love the taste, I love the process, and for me, this process would be interrupted and not as pleasureable if I were to have him wear a condom during it. That said, I know that for some women, a condom is the difference between what makes oral a "no-no" and what makes it bearable. But I was wondering, what are the primary differences as far as sensation and technique? I imagine you can't feel as much through the condom as without one; are blowjobs still pleasureable even wearing a condom?

I believe on the subject of condom use, it differs for everyone. Personally, I can't feel a damn thing if a condom is used, so I don't use them. I resign myself to not have spur of the moment sex, get my sexual partners and I tested before sex if it's a first time or they have another partner, and for myself to get regular STD tests and an HIV/AIDS Test every 3-6 months.

I wouldn't think you would be able to feel much, there is a layer between the mouth and the penis, and a lot of the pleasure comes from small movements of the tongue. However, I'm not a guy, would not be the master of the subject. I usually never use one for oral, since my boyfriend and I have been together for a long time and I trust him. I would just experiment to find out. Get flavored ones! Hahaha.

Like I said, having him wear a condom during oral would probably ruin the experience for me, seeing as what turns me on is everything I listed.

If you both get tested for STDs, or know for a fact he's clean, then forget the condom.

You can definitely feel it through the condom but it feels a whole lot better without. If he's a random or you know he's been playing around you might want to have him wear one. One of the things ER intake nurses check for is oral gonorrhea (yes, eww) so you can get STDs from oral. If you know him well and you know who he's been having sex with then leave it off.

I appreciate the information but I can proudly say I'm aware of how to practice safe sex. xD With my current situation, he's my partner and has been for a while, so I'd like to think I know him well (hehe). I also know that he's clean, and I know that I am his first, so.

The point of my question was because my sister and I had been talking with one another and she mentioned a condom during oral and it made me wonder about the differences between oral with a condom on and one without.

I don't think it would be much fun to do a blowjob with a condom. Even when I was doing blowjobs casually I didn't ever use one. I know there's some risk of STDs but I picked boys who were virgins so it reduced the risk a lot.
