I'm Lauren. I read that you like to write poetry? Poetry is so beautiful. I suck at writing it though.

Both are parts of my actual name, but only the people that know me, and know me well, know my real name. I'm 19, turning 20 soon, and for a long time, I wasn't able to find myself.
I'm a writer of poetry, stories, and lyrics to songs sometimes. I love public speaking, in which I perform my poetry, and I'm a hairstylist. I enjoy drawing and reading, also, but music and poetry are the highlights of my life.
Everything I know how to do, I basically taught myself. I love to learn, so finding out something new is a joy. Now, I can be nice, but I'm a blunt person. So, don't ask me any questions if you don't want my honesty, because it can indeed be harsh.
I'm not rude, and I HATE bullying. I can't stand associating myself with overly cocky people or ones that have no sympathy or love in their hearts for others. It's just not me.
But anyways, I'm me. Simple, creative, loving, friendly, sometimes mean, silly, blunt, black girl, Tyye. No more, no less.
