well don't lose hope. It can't be "worse" forever. Everything's gonna be okay, just tell yourself that and remember to stay strong, no matter what the rest of the world and the rest of you is saying.

That's GREAT Alex!! It really is.

I've been depressed a LOT in my life. In fact - I'm working my way though it now. [I'm better today than I was a month ago!]

I think one of the reasons why depression is so hard to conquer is that we buy into the LIE that tells us that depression is a part of who we ARE. When in FACT - depression is something ON us - something ATTACKING us.

When we see depression for what it IS - it's easier to fight BACK. If we think of depression as a part of us - a part of who we ARE - than our EGO gets in the way. How can we [So says our EGO] stop BEING depressed? Isn't that like asking ourselves to stop BEING 5 feet tall? Or stop BEING 16 years old?

I say - think of depression as a 'monster' - a 'monster' that wants to keep you down. And then give yourself permission to FIGHT BACK!!

    GBH - Craig!!

No reason not to start working on that 'script' NOW then. Or at least begin the 'imagination' part of that new script. The end of August is only a month away. As for being happy - I'm not sure I've ever been. But I have been occasionally 'content' with my life. And that's a good feeling. Maybe 'happy' is too high.

    Hi Alex!
You revealing the fact that you act happy all the time in your thoughtful response to the girl who lost her friend to suicide compelled me to say.....
I know what it's like to be on stage all the time.
    It's tiring. And it's unfair.
    AND UNNECESSARY!
    So do yourself a favour.
    Use a new ' script'.
    One that YOU write.
One that's based on the TRUE story of YOU!!
It takes time and effort [Believe me - I know] but every time you honour yourself by sharing yourself [Your true self] with the world around you - the more liberated you feel.
Fact is - the only thing that really changes when we dare to be who are really are - are the people who like you.
So you have to decide if you want to be liked for who you ARE...
or liked for who you are NOT!
    GREAT BIG HUG
    Craig!!
