UCC is the best located university in Ireland (the main campus is just beside the city centre in the middle of a residential area), it's big, it's got a decent electronics course, it's not Kilkenny...

Where did you live? I spent the first 6 years of my life in Crumlin, and soon I'll be moving to Cork (so perhaps the next stop is New York?
). Hate to sound cliché'd and all but I do/did have a friend out on the gold coast, not that there's any chance you know him or something -
