- I like big books with big words. I like riding on buses. I collect teapots, and those little love heart sweets. Once I get every message, I’ll start carving my own messages with a safety pin. I like swings, park benches, spinning in circles, and watching clouds and butterflies. I like acting, mostly when it’s on purpose. I like static, the television kind. I still fit into the children’s seats in shopping trolleys. Shoes are over-rated. Twenty-seven is my favourite number and there is a reason for it and everything. Qualitative data should probably be more important than quantitative data. I like baking, but I never eat what I bake. I like strangers that smile back. Crowds overwhelm me, there are just so many lives out there you know? I have a phobia of melted butter. I have picnics in cemeteries and bring fairy bread from crusts, and leave flowers for strangers. I like stones, but I don’t like rocks. I like it when you pick me up. I like playing hide and seek. I like symmetry, and I rearrange everything. I like holding hands, hugs and kisses. I like the big headphones that look awkward around your neck. I like rooftops. I hate phone credit. I like top hats, and rollerskates, sometimes together. I like trampolines. I like prime numbers. I wish I was a singer in your band. I like being called for no reason. I don’t care about the weather. I like walking down the middle of the road. I will let you down. I will never tell you everything. I like the things that I like, but I believe there is something to love in everything.
So I’m told I’m quirky. Quaint. Frazzled. Fucked.
