- I love Karate and the Japanese culture. I am not Japanese, but I love how much emphasis is put on character and respect. I am new to Japanese and Karate, but I love to learn more about it. My sensei is also someone I admire and respect greatly. He is singlehandedly the most inspirational person I have ever met and not only encourages growth in his karate dojo, but in all of your life. He says ʻYou have already won simply by saying you will fightʻ and ʻif you are positive good things will happen to youʻ and those are words I live by.
