- Who I am is not defined by my family, society, or even the law, but defined by myself. I am strong, independent woman who doesn't act as a door mat for anyone. I'm also loving, caring, compassionate, and will help anyone in any way that I can. I do care deeply about others and want the best for them (even enemies). To that end, I will talk to anyone about pretty much anything. I'm an open book, so I don't hide anything from anyone.
The most important thing to me is my education. I'm a senior at Salem College. I'm double majoring in integrated studies and psychology. I work extremely hard and I don't apologize for it.
My family is also very important to me. I want what is best for them and will do anything I can to help them and make their lives easier. I have an especially close relationship with my Mother. She is definitely my rock.
I also have a fiance. I love him dearly, but I'm not one of these co-dependent women. I have a life with him, but can also experience things outside of him. He has my heart, but not my entire life. I feel that balance between relationships and the rest of my life is extremely important.
I'm also an avid animal lover. I have four dogs: Little Bit (Jack Russell), Maggie May (Jack Russell), Snoopers (Dachshund), and Cujo (Toy Chihuahua). I love them with all of my heart and they are like my children.
In short, I'm a daughter, mommy (to my dogs), student, partner, sister, and a kind friend.
