- I am a nerd. I routinely break into song and dance throughout the day. I love to (in spite of the groans of the other passengers in the car) excitedly call out the key changes in songs I hear on the radio. I write stories when other girls are watching “Gossip Girl”, write letters when other girls are texting, dance in the rain when other girls are worrying about their hair getting wet. I tell my cats my problems-- they are good listeners! I wear fresh flowers in my hair even though they wilt by third period. I talk too loudly, and usually say embarrassing things when the room goes silent. Sometimes I just sit and think about life. I like exploring unknown territory, whether it is a new instrument, a new food, a new friend, a new lifestyle, or a new culture. When I ask people how they are, I mean it. I love being the center of attention, but I’m the best listener when people need me. I’m liberal and sometimes I wish I could have been a hippie. I am clean: no sex, no drugs, but maybe a little rock and roll. I tend to mother people. I am constantly lost in my thoughts, creating stories and new ideas and turning over new concepts in my head. I am a real person. I hide nothing. I understand people’s pain and I try to fix them. I am a creator, I am an artist, I am a thinker, I am a communicator, I am an healer. I laugh, I love, I cry, I dance, I sing, I think, I try, I learn, I act, I live to live and love to live.
