Hi Jessie, it's so nice to see a long-ago member return to the site! I'm not sure if you remember me, but I originally joined in November 2010 and you were one of the first people to welcome me here. We were in touch for a while, but I think we fell out of touch during a time you went to treatment perhaps? It's been so long since I've been in touch with any of the old-time THers! I'm only in occasional contact with Dez and Lydia these days. I can't recall what name I used then, but I've used a form of my legal name for years which I don't disclose on public forum anymore.

How have you been? I've been okay, the past decade or so have been incredibly challenging. I had a long-term job of four years but lost it at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. Since then, I've had shorter-terms jobs that I just haven't been happy with. How pathetic? Getting close to middle age (41 and exactly 7 months) and still haven't had a decent career. Anyways, enough of my moaning and moping.

Are you on any social media platform?

I hope you have a great day ahead!

Zumba can be hard when you're first starting out but then when you go more you get used to the different moves that they do. It can be scary at first but it's worth it! I only started going because my friend wanted to be an instructor so I went to support her, and then I fell in love! I'm not really an exercise person either but I do try to go with my other friend as well to work on different muscle groups. Yesterday I did a full body routine with her and my thighs hurt so bad haha. I've kind of wanted to start yoga but it makes me nervous because I'm not flexible at all. I have three guinea pigs! I have Bagel With Strawberry Cream Cheese, Choccy Milk, and Waffle! I used to have French Toast and Pancake but unfortunately they passed. This week is anxiety inducing because I got a bill from the place I go for group and I didn't think I should have a bill because of the insurance I have. My case manager is trying to help me figure it out but in the meantime I'm panicking! How has yours been? I hope the farm helped cheer you up a bit. Did you get to pet some of the animals? You can message me any time as well

Zumba is the only form of exercise I've done until recently when I've started using other gym equipment with my friend. It is kind of adaptable in ways, such as doing squats instead of burpees and things like that. I got the air conditioners put in my bedroom window and the guinea pig's window so it's not as bad, but it's soo gross. This week isn't as bad as a few weeks ago so far. My week is okay. I struggled over the weekend so I'm just trying to stay optimistic. How has yours been?

It's definitely a lot better than it used to be. I'm able to be around cats now and have slept over people's houses with cats now. I think as long as I take allergy medicine I'll be fine. I do Zumba at the gym that I'm a member at. I started doing it when my friend decided she wanted to become an instructor and I fell in love! It's so cute that your dog will stand in the pool with you. It's definitely better than nothing. It's supposed to be hot here at the end of this week and I'm not looking forward to it. I'm not good in the heat My week has been okay, just appointments and such. I always have something going on lol. How was yours?

I get like a scratchy throat and mild cough, but it's not enough where I'm in danger or anything. When I was a kid in elementary school I used to have asthma attacks any time I was around them but thankfully that went away as I got older! Zumba is pretty exhausting sometimes but it's really fun! I like the music and the moves, but I do mess up a lot and do the wrong thing haha. Your weekend sounds pretty fun. I hope your dog ends up loving the pool even though he doesn't like water haha. Let me know how he does!

Your profile picture and avatar with the kitties are so cute too! I haven't been around cats in a while and I'd love to pet some.
