People say, "oh, you're so smart! You're blessed with brains AND beauty!" Well, let me tell you something: it's not easy being the smart kid, the one with the high IQ. It's hard when everyone else in your family seem so relaxed around other people, and you're the one who stands there at a party, thinking, "What do I do? Do I leave, be the loner my dad claims I am?" My parents don't understand that people make me nervous. They ask why I'm on my computer all the time. Reason? It's where I can be me. It's where I'm the most comfortable. It's where I can find others like me. It's my safe place.
