    About me
I love to read, write, go for walks, swim, and play with my puppy Panda Bear.

Music is so important to me. I listen to a lot of different stuff, i'm pretty open minded, but picky too. It either has to have good lyrics, good music, or make me laugh, and i'll listen to it.

I love foriegn music, especially German (Tokio Hotel is the best band in the world!!! [dont judge]).

I've played the flute for about 12 years now, and i'm pretty good. Not great, but it's fun.

I've moved 22 times in the last 8 yrs, been to all 50 states (yes Alaska & Hawaii too) and lived in 8 of them.

I've been blessed to have gotten the opportunity to see most of this country (USA) as well as most of the Carribean, parts of Canada, and Mexico.

Europe next!! (i hope *crosses fingers*)

I have a little sister who has spina bifida (though it's not a severe case thankfully). I have the best parents in the world who, though they may not agree with some of my life choices, have always supported me. Sadly, my Dad had ALS, and passed away July 2010.

I'm really open minded, really friendly, and REALLY curious, if not a bit shy in person. I'm currently a freshman in college, and plan to get my Ph.D in World History. I want to open my own boarding school either in New England somewhere, or Germany.

I have major depression, alexathymia, and have been self-harming since i was 13, for 7 years. It's not really something i normally talk about, but for the last year i've been trying hard to stop cutting, and...yeah, it's not easy.

But, i'm a relatively positive person, and i know deep down things wont always be this way. The Gods are looking out for me, and i just have to learn whatever lesson it is they're trying to teach me through all of this.

    Hobbies
Reading, writing, nature, playing flute and piano, listening to music.
    Music
I am an unabashed Tokio Hotel fangirl. Best. Band. EVER!!! Though i also listen to lots of rock, alternative, etc. Really, i listen to a little from every genre, except country, but i'm picky. I really like German rock/rap.
    Movies
French Kiss, Kill Me Later, Harry Potter, Death At A Funeral, Charade...there are others, i just can't think of them
    Television
I hate TV. With a passion. I only watch Big Brother in the summer with my family because it's been a tradition since i was in elementary school.
    Games
    Tetris o_0
    Books
I'm totally not going to be able to name as many as there are, but a few of my all time favorite books (In no order): Catcher in the Rye, Impulse, Confessions of an Ugly Step Sister, Perks of Being a Wallflower, Looking for Alaska, Paper Towns, Will Grayson Will Grayson, An Abundance of Katherines, Go Ask Alice, Wicked, A Seperate Peace, Of Mice and Men, Oscar Wilde Discovers America, 19 Minutes, The Pact, Keeping Faith, Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry series, Harry Potter Series, Montmorency Series, Bloomability - or pretty much anything by Sharon Creech, Gregory Maguire, John Green, Shell Silverstein, Jodi Picoult, and Dr. Seuss. There are so many more, i just can't think of them now. I am desperately in love with reading. GOT ANY SUGGESTIONS!!
    Sports
I like to hike, swim, go for walks...but i'm really not a very athletic person.
    Heroes
Bill Kaulitz is very inspirational. I think, if he can make his dreams come true, as impossible as they may have been, then i can too. I also have to say my mother is a hero of mine. Through all the shit i've put her through, she has never failed to be there for me, always so strong.
    Favorite quotes

"Everything is okay in the end, if it's not ok, then it's not the end." - unknown

“We tell lies when we are afraid... afraid of what we don't know, afraid of what others will think, afraid of what will be found out about us. But every time we tell a lie, the thing that we fear grows stronger.”
    ~Tad Williams

“If you are an exceptionally good liar, it is your duty to tell the truth.” -unknown

"Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up." -unknown

    ...i have a million more. I'm a bit of a quote whore.
