You should consider making a thread in the Arrivals & Departures forum so you can introduce yourself to everyone! I know you said your main reason to be here isn't to get advice, but here is a thread on how to receive advice that explains the resources we have on TeenHelp.
Joining social groups is an awesome way to find users with similar interests! You can also check out the Chat Room to meet other users and forums respective to your interests like the Media & Entertainment forum where you can possibly post about movies/music/tv that you like!
