Somehow I managed to delete your question , but you can talk to people on chat or you can respond to posts on the forums. The best way is to start talking to people, and get to know them.

I see you haven't yet made any posts, but I wanted to drop by and suggest you make a thread in the Arrivals and Departures thread to let everyone know who you are and that you're new!
The Social Groups and the Chat Room are great places to meet new people who share the same interests as you.
This link is to the FAQ which goes over how the site works as well as any common questions you may have
One more thing, if you have a chance you should fill in a little bit of information in your "about me" so people know who they're talking to
