Favorite bands are 65daysofstatic and Nine Inch Nails.

- The greatest books I have ever read (read them now!):

"The Demon-Haunted World: Science As A Candle In The Dark" - Carl Sagan
"Why People Believe Wierd Things" - Michael Shermer (sort of a continuation of the above)
 "Musicophilia" - Oliver Sacks
"Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell" - Susanna Clarke
The Earthsea Series - Ursela LeGuin
"Haunted Weather" - David Toop (experimental music and the act of listening itself... if you actually like music and making music this is an incredible book)
- Heroes
- Trent Reznor, Carl Sagan.

But yes I wouldn't be complaining if I was in your situation! More music equipment!!
But yes I wouldn't be complaining if I was in your situation! More music equipment!! Equally, I think you're right you want some serious issues but not all heavy stuff for your music. 'Nirvana with an electronic edge' sounds very good - that's record company style pitch haha! Haha unlucky about your voice then (but perhaps that is just your opinion?!) but could do like Radiohead 'Fitter, Happier' with the whole song of spoken electronic voice. I have a weird love for that too.
