I am sure that mostly everyone here has been in a situation where you have had to forgive someone for something that they have done to you.

I have tried to forgive the people who hurt me terribly in 2021 but they wont let it go and it sad...

Im not mad at them.. THE MEDIA LIED TO THEM AND MADE US L00K BAD.. (The ones who saw thru it)

I love them terribly and it just hurts me more than I can say that he wont let this go. They started this, they need to let it go

Re: Making peace with those who have hurt you... - Yesterday, 06:12 PM

Making peace can definitely be difficult sometimes. I think you've already completed the first step by saying you're not mad at them. I think it comes down to radically accepting what you can't change. That doesn't mean you have to be happy with how things turned out. It means that you accept that this is what has happened and you have done the best you could given the situation at hand. It may be worth trying to avoid contact with the people who won't let things go. Ignore them so they're not getting a reaction out of you.

You need to get up, gotta keep your head up
Look at the people all around you
The way you feel is something everybody goes through
