accidental anorexia? -

i've just pretty much completely lost my appetite. I can be really hungry for hours on end, but I don't want to eat. In the end, I stop feeling hungry. When I do eat - which is breakfast, lunch and tea; I'm not skipping meals - I don't have overly much. I just don't want to eat. Not because I want to loose weight, but because... I'm not sure. At lunch yesterday, I had a small lunch. I was really hungry once I finished it, I had the money to get more food, but I didn't. I just didn't feel like it. I have to conciously think " you need to have breakfast before you give up and skip it". If I could survive without eating, I would do. I know that I've postd about this recently, but it's starting to worry me. I don't want to relapse, but it feels like I'm going to anyway =(

Jessy,
I can see why you're worried. It's good that you've posted here to recognise that you might be relapsing. Perhaps you need to be a bit firmer with yourself. Plan what you're going to eat that day - don't involve calories, though - and try to stick to it. You could tell yourself "I'm going to have this for breakfast, that for lunch" and, if these plans involve eating enough at mealtimes, hopefully you'll avoid a relapse. Anorexia is often about control, but you are in control, Jessy. You can control sensibly sized meals. You have the control to keep anorexia at bay. Remember you're a very strong person, and I have total faith in you that you can overcome this.

It's not so much about calories, more just eating. I'm cutting down on my snacking - 'cos I used to snack all the time - and I'm rying to eat healthier, but I just really don't feel like eating at all =(
