i feel bad. im 14, and ive never kissed anyone or even held hand with anyone. never been someones girlfriend. never even really had someone like me who wasnt either a creeper or lives states away. honestly i just really want to find a girl (or guy i guess) who will actually care about me and make me happy. i dont think thats too much to ask? most people arent even virgins at my age and i havent done ANYTHING with ANYONE. people also think im a prude because of that even though im DEFINITELY not lol. it sucks being so lonely though
 i mean, sure, getting a GF would mean having to come out, but i dont care if it means i will be happy. hell, right now i would love to even have a long distance gf!

Hey don't feel bad, there are PLENTY of people who have never had those things happened to them yet and are A LOT older than you (including me), so I know what you're going through. You're only 14, you're still a kid, you have plenty of time for that stuff to happen to you and you still being a virgin is definately a VERY GOOD THING! In my personal opinion kids our ages shouldn't even be having sex because they are not fully prepared for the consequences that could come from it. When the time comes, you will find the right person to experience those things with, but until then everything will be fine.

I'm 16, and I've never dated or kissed anyone. Most people my age that I know haven't either--they're definitely virgins too. Don't worry too much about it: you're still young, it'll happen.

I'm going to be honest with you, Sarah. I never dated anyone until I was 17. I never kissed anyone till 18.
There's nothing wrong with waiting a while. Some people will wait because they want to find the "right" person, others just aren't really interested in anyone. Personally I just had a lot of things to work out in terms of sexuality and that took me a while. Don't let anyone tell you that you should or should not be doing something or that because you reach a certain age you should be in a relationship with someone. That's how 16 and Pregnant came along.  Just try to take life at your own pace and don't let anyone push you. If anything, you'll be more respected for not jumping on the first guy you see.   |
