Because my favourite animal is the Panda and it was my nickname because it rhymes with Amanda. And my friend was singing "Waterloo" by ABBA, but sang "Pandaloo" instead for a random reason, and it sounded good so thats what i use for almost everything.

Oh I feel pretentious now! Mine came from feeling like I was coming out of a dark time in my life where I was very depressed and generally felt dead inside (hence ashes), but that's in the past now so it's something I've come from and out of.

This is a really interesting thread! And my username came from a Shakespeare play that I went to see last summer, which I loved to death and ended up memorizing half of. Using the name reminds me of the good times back then, although alot has happened since, good and bad

Well my name is Rachel which can be shortened to Rach.
I saw the word Razzmatazz on an advert and just liked how it sounded.
I thought the alliteration was cool and I liked how it sounded when it was put together with my name

It's the name of an album from Sum 41. Underclass Hero sounded cheesy, and Chuck sounds like a name. So I used DoesThisLookInfected? Which was the album before Chuck and Underclass Hero.

Acerbated means bitter. Waaaay back when I was making a new email, I was angry and depressed at life, so it was acerbated_life. I eventually had to change emails because of random people adding me off some social networking site, so I shortened it to Acerbated. Now I use it for everything: th, nexopia, emails, twitter, last.fm, anything I sign up to. It's my online alias.
My username before, lostxsoul, was derived from just feeling completely lost at the time, and I added an x because I don't think spaces were allowed in usernames before, and I didn't want to use punctuation.

Neat thread but yeah my user name... my big brother, who i don't see often 'cause he's in the navy was playing guitar hero on his Ps3 and decided to set up a band for me so I could play, and his nickname for me is Em, but he changed the spelling from Em, to M so ever since I've used that as my nick for like every where, "M" dramatic right? pfft. lol, but since I couldn't have a one character nick I added a "..." on to the end, because that is my favorite punctuation... so, I dunno, yeahhh...

For years I went by on forums as SecretUpset. But then it wasnt a secret anymore, and when I first came here I wanted something different.
I had an overwhelming feeling of uselessness, and still liked people calling me 'secret' so joined the two together! Ooh also I guess I was holding a huge secret about myself so that comes with it.
I was going to change my username at the reset as I no longer feel useless, but I don't like change, so stuck with it! I regret it now, cos I don't want to sound all depressing. Oh well.
