Halloween Birthday Party? -
August 21st 2012, 02:46 PM
I wasn't sure where else to post this so I chose here Anyway, a few months ago several of my friends said I should have a birthday party this year. I'll be turning 17 at the end of November. Is 17 too old to have a party? And if I did my party a few weeks early (beginning-mid November), would a Halloween themed party be a good idea? I was thinking have everyone wear their costumes (yes, we all still dress up for Halloween ), having a bunch of cool Halloween food, and just have fun hanging out, maybe playing a few group games if people want to. What do you guys think?
**Also, part of why I want to do this is because last year I felt like one of my friends had the party instead of me because ti wasn't really what I wanted to do. I just didn't have any better ideas since it was kind of last minute.

I think you're never too old to throw a good party. I didn't do anything for my seventeenth because I was going through a rough time, but I had a massive nerdy fancy dress party for my sixteenth. xD
Anyway, it sounds like a great idea. Do whatever you want for your birthday because it's your birthday!
Themed food is always good. And there's so much you can do for Halloween themed food as well. And you could theme the games if you want to, making it more interesting.
Do you wanna come with me? 'Cause if you do, then I should warn you - you're gonna see all sorts of things. Ghosts from the past. Aliens from the future. The day the Earth died in a ball of flame. It won't be quiet, it won't be safe, and it won't be calm. But I'll tell you what it will be: The trip of a lifetime!

I had an eighteenth birthday party.. My theme was all about romantic things like rose petals and candles I like your Halloween idea. If you are worried about it being late you could just name it a costume party or you could just celebrate your birthday on Halloween
