Poem I wrote about a close friend -

I have a really close friend who I Skype call every day (he lives in England). He tells me that everything will be just fine and that I can't kill myself. He offers to stay up all night to help me, and he only wishes I were there in person so he could make sure I stay safe. I wrote this poem because I only wish I could apologise to him until I am blue in the face:
I Can Only Get as Close as a Razor Blade Hug
I will try to look away so you see not my eyes
but the smile I will wear upon my face, drawn wide.
The look on your face when tears threaten me
draws at my heart, I want to beg you: "please."
Fear nothing, feel nothing, I have warned
you are the last I would ever want to mourn.
Saving my heart and my head from myself;
you have done all you could and you handled it well.
Some should stay broken, some cleaned up.
Put me in the bin, I have had enough.
Offer to welcome your dawn to mine.
Could that really give you some peace of mind?
I would rather you sleep; face the world brand new.
Darling, understand that is something I never could do.

This is beautiful, and it seems like you have a really great friend.
Do you ever get a little bit tired of life
Like you're not really happy but you don't wanna die
Like you're hanging by a thread but you gotta survive
'Cause you gotta survive
