The gentle grass hums
I sit, legs crossed, eyes closed. Swshhhhh
Swshhhhhh
Yet the clouds are so big,
So surreal
The skies
The skies are painted turquoise.
For once
For once I feel at peace.
Like nothing matters anymore.
Like I can accept this is who I am.
This is who I’ll be.
Nobody’s expectations.
Nobody’s judgment.
Maybe I’m like the bugs.
The ones who bounce about
Without a care in the world.
The ones who don’t feel
Who don’t hurt
Who don’t envy
Who don’t cry Those bugs.
Swshhhh
Swshhhhh
If only things
Could stay this way.
If only things
Wouldn’t change.
If only things
Didn’t hurt.
If only.
I really like how you made the "swshhhh" sounds for the grass and for the bugs. I also like the descriptions you used at the beginning to describe how the clouds and skies were.
Do you ever get a little bit tired of life
Like you're not really happy but you don't wanna die
Like you're hanging by a thread but you gotta survive
'Cause you gotta survive
This was lovely to read, thank you for sharing this with us.

It’s the rhythm

It’s the expression
in time and movement,
in happiness, joy, sadness and envy.
