Why was my period two weeks early? -
April 30th 2015, 10:47 AM
(Yes, I will go to a doctor if this keeps happening.)
I was always bang-on regular every 29 days before going on the pill, but since I came off it three years ago my cycle still hasn't seemed to settle down - sometimes I get my period after four weeks and sometimes 3.
This month I got it two weeks after the last one started. So I've had two periods this month. It wasn't spotting or implantation bleeding and I'm not pregnant - it was a full-on period - with slightly thicker and waterier consistency at the start. I thought I was on my ovulation period, so why did I start menstruating out of nowhere?
My period tracker app is telling me that I'm ovulating every three weeks instead of every four. I know it's just an app based on my menstruation record but why is this?

Well sometimes people have a shorter cycle than four weeks, so if it's regular maybe you just have a shorter cycle.
Also, sometimes your periode can be early, if you are stressed or put under a lot of pressure in your life. For example mine was two weeks early once because I had a panic attack. So maybe something happened that put your body under enough stress, that your periode was early.
An extreme change in eating habbits can also mess with your cycle.
If it bothers you it would be best to just ask a doctor, it's their job to help us with this stuff^^
It's ok to give in to an urge or make a mistake. You are only human and we all have our flaws. We all have our weak moments and we all make mistakes. Thats what makes us human.
Thats what makes us unique and beautiful
Courage isn't always a loud roar. Sometimes it is a quiet whisper at the end of a day saying: Tomorrow I will try it again!
