FREAKING out over being pregnant -
June 1st 2013, 11:00 AM
Hello everyone!
Could you help me? I've been really stressed. Usually the last week of each month I start my period. Last April I started the 27th but sometimes I start the 29th or 30th. I didn't get my period for anytime of the last week of May though and I'm terrified! I feel like I'm going to start but nothing happens. A few weeks ago my boyfriend and I had about a minute of vaginal unprotected sex but I felt nothing liquid wise enter me. When he did release it was very far away from my vagina. I wasn't worried about it until the late period which is also my only real sign of anything. I've also been VERY stressed over this and haven't been able to sleep the past week. I also do not feel like eating because I'm so scared. I'm trying to relax but it's just so hard.
Do you think I'm pregnant?

Hey,
As Jordi says, there may be a risk, but it is fairly small.
A lot of factors can affect this sort of thing (stress is one of them!).
Try to calm down as much as you can: you will be alright, whatever happens.
You can get pregnancy tests, too, though for now I'd say you can wait and see what happens. If you're really, really worried, you can always visit your GP and discuss the matter.

Hey there!
When you have sex there is always a risk of getting pregnant, which is why it is important to use protection to try and lower this risk factor.
If you aren't getting your period, a contributing factor to this could be that you are stressed which is causing your period to delay.
The best way to be sure is to either take a pregnancy test or go to a doctor.
Make sure to take the extra precautions next time.
Feel free to message me with any more concerns or after taking a pregnancy test or going to the doctor.
